Do You Know a British Centenarian? We Want to Hear From You.
Based on recent data, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the same period, the amount of female centenarians nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are keen to listen to individuals who have reached 100, their relatives or close ones, about what it has been like to bear witness to the past century’s seismic events and changes.
